Board Names Alum to Lead MCPS

The Montgomery County Board of Education announced Dr. Thomas Taylor will be  appointed superintendent of Montgomery County Public Schools. Dr. Taylor is an  MCPS alum. The Board will vote on Dr. Taylor’s appointment at their regularly  scheduled June 25 business meeting.

Capital Improvements Program - Hearing Notice

The Montgomery County Board of Education will hold public hearings on November 4 and November 6, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., to hear testimony regarding the Superintendent’s Recommended FY 2026 Capital Budget and Amendments to the FY 2025–2030 Capital Improvements Program.
